Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RT (CRRT or RRT) in the practicing state.
• Current BLS is required; ACLS preferred.
• Ventilator unit experience is required; LTC/Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and therapies with monitoring and evaluation.
• Administer medications and manage ventilatory support and gas monitoring.
• Coordinate with nursing leadership to integrate respiratory care into daily practice.
• Assess, plan, and discharge respiratory therapy plans for residents.
• Maintain equipment records and ensure preventive maintenance.
