Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Miles City, Montana, seeks a Respiratory Therapist to independently perform respiratory care procedures, interpret orders, assess resident needs, deliver prescribed therapy, and evaluate responses while consulting and educating the clinical staff. Qualifications include a High School Diploma and MT CRT or RRT licensure, current BLS, and TB/ fingerprint clearance.

ACLS preferred. Ventilator unit experience and work in long‑term acute care or skilled nursing are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensed in MT.
• Current BLS; ACLS preferred.
• Finger Print Clearance and TB clearance.
• Valid clinician license to practice respiratory therapy in MT.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed respiratory therapy and monitor resident response.
• Set up and manage ventilatory support, humidification, and oxygen monitoring.
• Coordinate with nursing and physicians for care planning and education.
• Maintain equipment, records, and compliance with regulations.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care and safety.
