One Medical is recruiting a Certified Medical Assistant (Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist) in West Hartford, CT to deliver exceptional patient experiences through venipuncture and clinical support. You’ll be the first contact, guide patients through check-in, and help coordinate in-office and virtual care flows.

You will collaborate with the Practice Coordinator, Operations Manager and providers to maintain accurate records and uphold patient-centered standards across front desk

Qualifications

• Active Medical Assistant certification from NHA, AAMA, NCCT, or AMT.
• Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program or completed MA training.
• At least 6 months of MA or Phlebotomist experience outside of training/externship.
• Strong customer service and ability to establish relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with computers and multiple software systems.
• Experience with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams; remote teamwork a plus.
• Proven ability to deliver patient-centered care during collection.
• Adaptability and willingness to take on new tasks.

Responsabilités

• Perform venipuncture and clinical support across age ranges.
• Manage patient intake, same-day scheduling and follow-ups.
• Assist with billing inquiries and insurance knowledge.
• Front desk duties: check-in/out, verify insurance, prep tests.
• Maintain inventory, labeling, and specimen handling.
• Support providers and virtual medical team with clerical tasks.
• Master the technology suite (Slack, G‑Suite, Zoom, EMR).
