Job summary

Avocet Hospitality Group’s Vendue boutique hotel in Charleston’s French Quarter is seeking an inspiring leader to coach our housekeeping team, delivering a visually stunning guest experience.

You will supervise Room Attendants, inspect rooms, coordinate with Front Desk and Maintenance, manage daily room assignments and inventory, while flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; benefits include PayActiv, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and healthcare.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of housekeeping supervisory experience in a hotel environment preferred.
• Self-motivated, highly organized under pressure, and passionate about coaching a team to win.
• Fluent in English to connect with the team and follow directions safely (bilingual skills are a plus).
• Ready to work a dynamic schedule based on hotel demand, including weekends and holidays.
• Stand/walk for an entire shift, navigate stairs, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspire & Lead: Supervise, train, and mentor Room Attendants and Housepersons to maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards.
• The Perfection Check: Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas daily with a sharp eye for detail.
• Dynamic Collaboration: Partner closely with Front Desk and Maintenance to coordinate room readiness, report damages, and handle VIP arrivals.
• Manage the Flow: Assist with daily room assignments, inventory control, and tracking housekeeping supplies.
