Job summary

JM Test Systems, LLC. is seeking a detail-oriented To-Factory Specialist in Baton Rouge to own outsourced calibration and repair coordination from quotes to return. You’ll manage purchase orders, shipping, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely updates to customers and vendors.

The role emphasizes organization, problem solving, and effective communication within a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for growth and cross-team collaboration across JM Test Systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong organization and attention to detail with multi-tasking ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and a customer-service mindset.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel occasionally for training or support.
• Preferred experience with Sage or another ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outsourced service: review work orders, request quotes, RMAs, and approvals.
• Manage purchasing and shipping: create POs in Sage, coordinate shipments, track returns.
• Verify quality on return: check calibration certificates and documentation.
• Act as liaison between customers, vendors, and internal teams with timely updates.
• Maintain accurate records in CalMapp and related systems.
• Monitor vendor performance and drive process improvements.
