Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services seeks a detail-focused Vendor Oversight Specialist to manage an existing network of third-party service providers. You will monitor compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines, escalating issues to leadership when needed, and maintaining accurate vendor data in the management system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ year experience in financial services, mortgage servicing, auditing, compliance or vendor management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Visio).
• Knowledge of regulatory and investor guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a network of third-party service providers and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor vendor documentation and conduct first-level reviews throughout the oversight lifecycle.
• Escalate identified risks or issues to leadership promptly.
• Maintain vendor management system data accuracy and timely notifications.
• Coordinate due diligence for new vendors and onboarding.
• Serve as main point of contact for vendors and provide timely status updates.
