Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Vendor Management Associate to oversee a network of third-party service providers and monitor their compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. You will manage due diligence, track contracts, and escalate issues to leadership as needed.

Responsibilities include reviewing vendor documentation, maintaining records, coordinating invoices, and handling inquiries.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in financial services; mortgage servicing, auditing, finance, compliance or vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess large volume of documentation to complete existing vendor's annual review per regulatory compliance and internal policy.
• Monitor and conduct first level review of vendor compliance documents throughout oversight lifecycle.
• Oversee an assigned pool of third-party vendors and escalate identified risks or privacy issues.
• Maintain Vendor Management Department inbox for timely processing of inquiries.
• Manage ongoing reviews and contract obligations; ensure accuracy of the vendor management system and timely notifications.
• Escalate matters to leadership timely if unable to resolve.
• For new third-party vendors, conduct due diligence collection and evaluation before submission for approval.
• Be the first contact for vendors and provide updates via status reports and communications.
• Review FNMA/FHLMC documentation from vendors to ensure compliance and submit for approval; update system and notify stakeholders.
• Coordinate vendor invoices for marketing and mortgage lending as needed.
• Ensure all documents in the internal system are current and entered upon receipt.
• Respond to site audit exceptions identified by QCVM for compliance and track remediation plans.
• Support processing vendor communications requests, including tracking acknowledgments.
• Research potential new service providers as requested by VM leadership.
• Log consumer complaints into the vendor management system and coordinate remediation.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
