Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services, part of The Carrington Companies, is seeking a Vendor Oversight Specialist in Boise to monitor a network of third-party providers, ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines, and escalate issues to leadership as needed.

You will conduct annual vendor reviews, oversee due diligence for new partners, maintain vendor records, coordinate invoices and communications, and support FNMA/FHLMC documentation to keep the vendor management system current.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Visio).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organization and deadline management.
• Strong document interpretation skills.
• High school diploma/GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ year in financial services, mortgage servicing, auditing, or vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess a large volume of documentation for annual vendor reviews.
• Monitor and conduct first-level review of vendor compliance documents.
• Oversee ongoing oversight of an assigned pool of third-party vendors and escalate risks.
• Maintain Vendor Management inbox and timely responses.
• Manage vendor ongoing reviews and contract obligations; ensure system accuracy.
• Escalate matters to leadership when unresolved.
• Perform due diligence on new vendors before approval.
• Be first point of contact for vendors and provide status updates.
• Review FNMA/FHLMC documents and update approval status in the system.
• Coordinate vendor invoices for marketing and mortgage lending as needed.
• Keep internal records current and entered on receipt.
• Respond to site audit exceptions and track remediation actions.
• Support vendor communications and acknowledgments.
• Research potential new service providers as requested.
• Log consumer complaints and coordinate remediation actions.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
