Job summary

• High school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1+ year in financial services, mortgage servicing, auditing, compliance or vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess large volumes of documentation for vendor annual reviews in line with regulatory compliance and internal policy.
• Monitor and review vendor compliance documents across lifecycle; track contracts milestones and termination documents.
• Oversee an assigned pool of third-party vendors, escalate risks and privacy issues.
• Manage Vendor Management Department inbox and ensure timely responses to inquiries.
• Oversee vendor ongoing reviews and contract obligations; ensure accuracy of vendor management system.
• Escalate unresolved matters to leadership in a timely manner.
• Perform due diligence on new vendors and submit for approval through formal processes.
• Act as first point of contact for vendors and provide updates via status reports.
• Review FNMA/FHLMC documentation for compliance and update status in system.
• Coordinate vendor invoices with marketing and mortgage lending as needed.
• Ensure all internal system records are current and complete.
• Respond to site audit exceptions and track remediation actions.
• Assist with vendor communications and acknowledgements.
• Research and gather information for potential new service providers.
• Log consumer complaints and coordinate remediation.
