Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Vendor Oversight Specialist to oversee a network of third-party service providers, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. You will monitor documentation, contract milestones, and risk indicators while escalating issues to leadership.

You will manage the vendor management system, perform due diligence on new vendors, and maintain timely communications with vendors.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Outlook, Excel and Visio.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to organize and meet deadlines.
• Excellent document interpretation and comprehension skills.
• One year or more of experience in financial services (mortgage servicing, auditing, finance, compliance or vendor management).

Responsibilities

• Review and assess large volume of documentation for vendor annual reviews.
• Monitor first level reviews of vendor compliance documents throughout oversight lifecycle.
• Oversee an assigned pool of third-party vendors and escalate risks.
• Manage Vendor Management Department inbox and inquiries.
• Coordinate vendor reviews and contract obligations in the vendor system.
• Escalate issues to leadership when unresolved.
• Perform due diligence for new vendors prior to approval.
• Be first point of contact for vendors and provide updates.
• Review FNMA/FHLMC documentation for compliance and submit for approval.
• Coordinate marketing and mortgage lending vendor invoices.
• Ensure internal records are current and updated.
• Respond to site audit exceptions and track remediation.
• Support vendor communications requests.
• Research potential new service providers for onboarding.
• Log consumer complaints and coordinate remediation.
• Perform other duties and special projects.
