Cox Automotive is seeking a Title Processor to handle titles for vehicle auctions, ensuring accuracy and DMV compliance. You will verify VINs, odometer readings, lien releases, and that titles show no alterations.

You will interact with customers, dealers, and regulatory agencies, resolve titling issues, and stay current with state regulations. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required with 3 years' related experience, or an equivalent combination as listed in the ad.
• Effective communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills are needed.
• Basic computer software skills are required.
• Vision abilities include close, distance, and depth perception.

Responsabilités

• Process and re-assign titles for vehicles sold by the auction.
• Examine vehicle titles for accuracy and conformity to requirements; verify state acceptance and VIN accuracy.
• Determine negotiability of title documents and assess for potential fraud; report discrepancies.
• Resolve titling issues by coordinating with customers, dealers, and regulatory agencies; assist with price adjustments when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of current DMV laws and interpret titling regulations for processed states.
• Receive and route telephone calls to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform duties such as processing sale day transactions and providing customer service.
• Run title reports and contact sellers regarding outstanding titles.
• Issue gate passes for no-sale vehicles and assist with sale day balancing.
• Run 15-day outstanding title reports and notate title status in the system.
• Assist with title and check audits.
• Demonstrate safety compliance and participate in Safety Excellence initiatives.
• Overtime may be required as business needs dictate.
