You will coach title specialists, set processes and QA standards, and escalate complex cases to ensure DMV regulatory compliance.

This hands-on leadership role requires 3+ years in title work and 1+ year in people management; Bachelor's preferred; strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in vehicle title work, DMV operations, or title/escrow environments.
• 1+ year in a people-management or supervisory role.
• Working knowledge of ELT and SPOA across multiple states.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle high-volume processes.
• Clear communication with lienholders, lenders, and DMV staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a team of title clerks/specialists handling daily title processing.
• Own end-to-end title lifecycle: verification, retitling, SPOA, lien payoffs, and shipment.
• Resolve title exceptions by coordinating with DMVs, lienholders, and lenders nationwide.
• Monitor aged and in-progress dealer deals to keep them moving toward close.
• Build and refine SOPs, QA checks, and escalation paths for the title team.
• Partner with Customer Success, Operations and Engineering to drive improvements or automation.
• Track team performance and report trends and risks to leadership.
• Escalate complex or high-risk title cases, including suspected fraud and multi-state issues.
• Ensure compliance with state DMV title and registration regulations.
• Handle hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance reviews.
