Job summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting is seeking a detail-oriented Title Coordinator to support title processing for a growing digital wholesale vehicle marketplace. The role involves processing vehicle titles, communicating with DMVs, and maintaining accurate documentation across all U.S.

jurisdictions. Responsibilities include handling title-related paperwork, tracking requests in the inventory system, and assisting clients with title questions.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of title processing, automotive administration, or related administrative experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail with high-volume documentation.
• Typing speed approximately 45–60 WPM.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer service oriented.
• Proficiency with Windows and Google apps; quick learner of internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Process vehicle title and registration applications across U.S. jurisdictions.
• Prepare recovery affidavits and other title-related documentation.
• Enter and track new title requests within the title inventory system.
• Contact DMVs regularly to obtain updates on title applications and processing.
• Review titles and documents to determine required items for a good title.
• Match titles with vehicles and supporting documentation accurately.
• Prepare title invoices and track state fees and charges.
• Maintain records of title transactions and document movement.
• Update vehicle inventory with title information.
• Research and resolve client questions with professional service.
• Monitor DMV requirements and share updates with leadership.
• Prepare reports for clients and management as needed.
• Provide general administrative support including data entry and filing.
