Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Service Assistant at our Costa Mesa, CA location to support the day-to-day service operations. You will assist with customer vehicle handovers, deliveries, drop-offs, and shop tasks in a fast-paced automotive environment.

The role offers hands-on learning, exposure to certification training, and opportunities to grow within a leading EV company that emphasizes safety, teamwork, and exceptional service. Base schedule includes weekends and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Basic automotive knowledge.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification post hire.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Full-time, including weekends or extended hours during busy periods.
• Willingness to complete Lucid provided CPR training post hire.
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year.

Responsibilities

• Provides a world-class customer experience to all Lucid clients, both internal and external
• Vehicle drives include dropping off or picking up customer vehicles and/or loaners, runs to the Bodyshop, test charging at EA charge stations, among others.
• Arranging Lyft rides for internal vehicle moves per request
• Assist with Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) carrier preparation and vehicle hand-over. When needed, help with check in process
• Assist technicians with basic repairs in the shop
• Other duties as assigned including but not limited to moving and staging vehicles, delivering parts, washing vehicles, and assisting the service department as needed
