Job summary

Toyota in the United States, within the Product Planning & Strategy department, seeks a Vehicle Planner for the Car & CUV team. You will lead market research, build business cases, and promote cross-functional alignment across TMNA and TMC to shape the US lineup.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; strong skills in pricing, planning, analytics, and negotiation are essential. Willingness to travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience.
• Experience in pricing, product planning, sales planning, and marketing strategy.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis of customers and market opportunities.
• Develop compelling business cases with product concepts, requirements, pricing, and forecasts.
• Lead market research and coordinate with TMC to align US market needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to reach consensus on proposals.
• Communicate concepts to senior management and shape product lifecycle strategies.
• Drive product lifecycle decisions to maximize sales and profit while meeting customer needs.
