Job summary

Toyota North America is seeking a passionate Analyst in the Product Profit Lifecycle Management (PPLM) department to support full vehicle lifecycle profitability.

You will assist with cost and price management from early concept through production, collaborating with Sales, Design, Plant, and Logistics to deliver financial insights and actions that improve profitability.

Reporting to the PPLM Manager, you will develop scalable analyses and help standardize processes across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in Product or Program Finance, FP&A, or Strategic Cost/Profit Analysis.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and financial storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Planning and Coordination.
• Support project schedules and milestones from concept through production.
• Align profit targets with Sales, Design, Plant, Logistics, and other functional groups.
• Assist in execution of roles, deliverables, and timelines.
• Use strong communication and follow-up to maintain alignment and accountability.
• Support Financial Performance Analysis.
• Identify and explain cost and price drivers impacting profitability.
• Provide clear gap-to-target analysis to support recovery actions and strategic decisions.
• Support Profitability Monitoring and Target Management.
• Track inputs across Cost Planning, Pricing, Ideal Budget, and PBM Actuals.
• Monitor Risks and Opportunities to support target management and long-term profitability.
• Support Manufacturing and Investment Strategy.
• Partner with Enterprise Strategy & Solutions on plant, line, and localization studies.
• Support financial analysis to guide capacity planning and capital investment decisions.
• Support Tools and Process Standardization.
• Develop scalable analysis templates, tools, and systems to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Document and standardized processes that enable data-driven decision-making across the vehicle lifecycle
