Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator in Concord, NC. This role focuses on scheduling preventative maintenance, coordinating outside repairs, and planning the shop work plan to maximize productivity.

The position supports scheduling, parts availability, and vendor coordination while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business. Flexible to essential duties and daily shift from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience
• At least 1 year of hands-on mechanical experience
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
• At least 2 years of service department administration preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Associates/Technical/Bachelors degree preferred
• ASE certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and weekly workforce plans to maximize service and productivity.
• Communicate with customers for maintenance updates and scheduling or billing concerns.
• Maintain Penske Rental units and ensure parts are available for scheduled work.
• Hold vendors accountable for quality and adherence to schedule.
• Provide excellent customer service to encourage return business.
• Optimize the shop work plan and coordinate with district billing.
• Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
