Cox Automotive - USA is seeking a Lead Lot Operations Specialist to direct the daily vehicle check-in area, coordinating drivers and ensuring smooth flow from check-in to sale staging. The role requires a hands-on leader who can manage the workflow, verify vehicles are received, tracked, and parked correctly, and deliver consistent, quality service to customers.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED with extensive relevant experience, a valid driver’s license and a safe driving

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED with 7 years’ experience, or other combinations with related field experience.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record are required.

Aufgaben

• Direct the daily operation of the vehicle check-in area by leading and coordinating the activities and workflow of the drivers.
• Ensure efficient lot operation by coordinating the movement of vehicles from check-in to sale staging.
• Oversee and ensure incoming vehicles are received, stocked-in, numbered and parked in proper areas.
• Provide quality service and interact with customers to resolve problems that arise.
• Inspect and maintain lot operations equipment and ensure it is functional and in good working condition.
• Supervise and direct lot operations staff by determining work procedures, schedules, expediting workflow, assigning duties and monitoring accuracy.
• Assist Supervisor in counseling and disciplining employees; plan and evaluate performance; conduct appraisals.
• Collaborate with recon, commercial, retail, dealer and Vehicle Entry regarding lot flow.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
