Job summary

Cox Automotive in Dallas, TX is seeking a Lot Operations Specialist II to support vehicle movement, inspections, and turnover at the lot. You will coordinate vehicle flow, perform pre-sale walks with drivers, and maintain run lists to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED with 3+ years in a related field, a valid driver's license, and the ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required with 3 years in related field or equivalent combination
• Alternative: any level degree/certification beyond HS in related discipline
• Experience in related field; valid driver’s license may be required
• Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles
• Knowledge of lot operations, layout and LDM preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect support equipment for proper working order
• Conduct presale walk-throughs with drivers to verify routes and plan changes
• Maintain run list for vehicles, keys, and numbers
• Coordinate vehicle movement to maintain flow and safety
• Respond to inquiries from customers and dealers
• Report safety concerns to management
