Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking an Inspector Apprentice to inspect customer vehicles upon receipt, documenting damage and mechanical issues. You’ll complete required paperwork and perform day-end tasks using ECR and related software.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills. You’ll work in a structured environment with safety and quality at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Safe driver’s license required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn software.

Responsibilities

• Verify vehicle information and identify damage or issues during inspection.
• Prepare and complete all required documentation.
• Conduct day-end procedures and maintain system knowledge.
• Write electronic condition reports (ECR).
• Perform safety checks and follow policy procedures.
• Work overtime as needed by business needs.
