Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking an on-site vehicle inspector to verify information, document damage, and ensure accurate reports at intake. The role requires attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to follow procedures.

You will perform day-end tasks, stay current with applicable software, and participate in safety initiatives while supporting overtime as needed. Candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and strong interpersonal skills to interact

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Generally, less than 2 years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Verify vehicle information based on work order; identify damage and issues.
• Prepare and complete all necessary documentation.
• Set up system for day-end and perform day-end procedures.
• Write electronic condition reports (ECR).
• Conduct OVE courtesy walks around inspections.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and software packages relevant to work.
• Follow safety procedures and support Safety Excellence initiatives.
