Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Inspector in Big Spring, TX. You will visit dealerships and off-lease sites to inspect vehicles, document condition, and estimate repair costs. You’ll communicate clearly with clients, support the sales team, and help grow the ACV platform’s user base.

The role requires mobility, the ability to work outdoors, and a willingness to travel to multiple locations. A valid driver's license is essential, and experience in the auto field is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in the automobile field is preferred but not required.
• Strong command of English and clear communication with customers.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease sites to detect damage and mechanical issues.
• Prepare and submit condition reports with repair/replacement estimates.
• Assist sales team with upsell/cross-sell opportunities and build client relationships.
• Travel to dealerships and homes to inspect and write reports.
• Take photos and upload them to the image server using company devices.
• List inspected vehicles for bidding on the ACV platform.
