Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Inspector with a passion for cars to join our field team. Inspectors are the face of ACV, engaging with dealers, documenting vehicle conditions, and communicating findings clearly.

Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles at various locations, documenting damages, and supporting the sales team with related services while traveling to dealerships as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in the automobile field with customer service background.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to work outside in the elements for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Support efforts to enhance the customer experience.
• Conduct inspections of vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease to detect damage and problems.
• Prepare and submit a report of vehicle condition and repair estimates.
• Assist sales team with up-selling or cross-selling services and products.
• Interface with dealers to build relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
• Travel to dealerships and homes to inspect and write condition reports.
