Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Inspector to join our growing team. You will inspect vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease sites, prepare condition reports, and help the sales team with follow-up.

You’ll travel to locations and work in varied conditions, with a focus on accuracy and clear communication. Requirements include 1 year in the automobile field with a customer-service background, valid driver's license, and ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in the automobile field with customer service background.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Ability to work outside in the elements and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease sites to detect damage and issues.
• Prepare and submit reports of vehicle condition and repair/replacement cost estimates.
• Assist sales team with up-sell or cross-sell opportunities.
• Develop strong dealer relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
• Travel to various locations for inspections and write detailed condition reports.
• Capture and attach photos to vehicle records and list vehicles on ACV Auctions platform.
