Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Urbandale, IA seeks an Estimator to deliver an exceptional customer experience by preparing accurate repair estimates, coordinating repairs with customers and insurance providers, and guiding them through the repair process. You will assess vehicle damage, document parts needs, and align with teammates to hit KPIs.

Responsibilities include documenting customer interactions, providing timely information, ensuring DRP compliance, and participating in daily production

Qualifications

• Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Awareness of where to look for answers
• Basic computer skills
• DRP compliance, 1+ year experience

Responsibilities

• Document every customer interaction with relevant details
• Provide accurate, timely information guiding customers through repair process
• Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements and DRP processes
• Coordinate with WOW Operating Ways for customer drops, planning, communication, and delivery
• Communicate customer requests to team members
• Greet customers with positive energy in person and on the phone
• Understand required insurance programs and procedures
• Participate in daily production walks with Management
• Support team members as needed
• Attend Health & Safety and staff meetings as required
• Attend training sessions and workshops
