Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, seeks an experienced Inspector/Arbitration coordinator in Chandler, AZ. You will oversee inspection quality, manage the arbitration process, and liaison with buyers and sellers to resolve discrepancies across reports.

Responsibilities include hands-on inspections, coordinating third‑party inspections, and maintaining meticulous records while ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous automotive auction, inspection, or mechanical experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to safely drive a variety of makes/models/sizes of vehicles.
• Proficiency with computer systems, mobile inspection tools, and internal inventory databases.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the quality and throughput of vehicle inspections to ensure accuracy across reports.
• Actively manage the WIP pipeline to move vehicles through inspection and arbitration.
• Resolve differences between buyers and sellers arising from representations on the auction block.
• Conduct hands‑on vehicle inspections to verify condition and ensure high standards.
• Serve as a professional point of contact for internal and external customers.
• Understand and enforce the auction’s arbitration policies, guidelines, and jurisdictional requirements.
• Coordinate third‑party inspections as needed and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain precise records of arbitration outcomes and provide updates to leadership.
• Ensure all company policies, safety protocols, and laws are followed.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the designated manager.
