Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is seeking a Vehicle Inspector to support vehicle condition evaluations at our locations. You will inspect for wear, damage, and prior repairs, capturing data via mobile devices and delivering prompt, accurate reports to dealers and consumers.

The role emphasizes professionalism, safety, and teamwork within a fast-paced environment. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license, and 1 year of automotive

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year automotive experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license that meets the requirements.
• Able to safely drive a variety of make/model/sizes of vehicles.
• Proficiency with computer systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for signs of wear, tear, neglect, damage, previous repair or structural damage.
• Complete inspection of vehicles promptly and accurately, including imaging and uploading results.
• Interact with dealers and consumers professionally as the face of ADESA and its businesses.
• Communicate with customers to resolve inquiries in a friendly, courteous and professional manner; advise management of complaints.
• Capture data accurately on a mobile device and work with related software and technology.
• Submit completed condition reports and maintain equipment; ensure timely, accurate inspections.
