Job summary

The Whiting‑Turner Contracting Company seeks a BIM/VDC Lead to drive the Virtual Building program in the central Pennsylvania region, leveraging BIM and emerging technologies for digital delivery. You will lead project teams, coordinate with trade partners and designers, review RFPs, develop BIM Execution Plans, and push innovative approaches across multiple concurrent projects.

The ideal candidate brings a background in architecture, civil engineering or construction management, with 3–5 years

Qualifications

• Ability to read drawings and interpret construction schedules.
• Knowledge of MEP systems, focusing on Electrical.
• Experience coordinating BIM efforts across teams.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Curiosity and willingness to drive innovation.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing RFPs and BIM requirements.
• Developing BIM Execution Plans.
• Evaluating Design Intent models for constructability and accuracy.
• Create virtual simulations for site logistics and sequencing.
• Lead meetings with trade partners to resolve conflicts.
• Produce clash reports and action items.
• Generate RFIs from the Virtual Build process.
• Test new software and recommend usage.
