Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC 4D Coordinator to unite models and schedules for smarter construction planning across multiple projects in the United States. You will develop 4D simulations, assess sequencing, and help extend into 5D workflows, collaborating with an international team to deliver efficient, data-driven planning.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in BIM/VDC with 4D experience, proficiency in SYNCHRO or Fuzor, and strong Revit/Navisworks skills, plus a desire to learn new tools and improve

Qualifications

• 2+ years of BIM/VDC with 4D modeling or sequencing experience.
• Proficiency in 4D platforms such as SYNCHRO or Fuzor, and Revit/Navisworks.
• Understanding of schedules, relationships, and link to model elements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 4D models linking 3D elements with schedules.
• Prepare model data, including Revit parameters and coding.
• Evaluate sequencing, identify conflicts, risks, and opportunities.
• Create clear simulations and presentations for planning discussions.
• Keep models current as designs and priorities change.
• Coordinate with an international delivery team and ensure quality.
• Improve workflows and test automation to increase speed and accuracy.
• Help develop 5D workflows connecting quantities, schedule, and cost.
• Share knowledge to help teams use 4D effectively.
