Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC 4D Coordinator to unify models and schedules across multiple projects with an international delivery team. You will create and maintain 4D simulations, link Revit data, and help drive 5D workflows to improve planning and execution.

You’ll collaborate across disciplines, troubleshoot data integration, and advance new tools and workflows while benefiting from Jacobs’ hybrid work policy and broad health and welfare programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of BIM/VDC experience with 4D modeling or construction sequencing.
• Proficiency in 4D platforms such as SYNCHRO or Fuzor; experience with Revit and/or Navisworks.
• Understanding of schedules, activity relationships, sequencing, and model linkage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 4D models linking 3D elements to schedules.
• Prepare and vet model data, RevIt parameters, and element coding for reliable linking.
• Evaluate sequencing and identify schedule conflicts, constraints, risks, and opportunities.
• Create clear simulations and visualizations to support planning discussions.
• Keep models current as designs and priorities change; pivot between projects.
• Coordinate with an international delivery team and ensure deliverable quality.
• Improve workflows and test tools to speed, accuracy, and usefulness.
• Support 5D workflows connecting quantities, schedule activities, and cost data.
• Share knowledge and help teams use 4D effectively in planning and execution.
