Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of office experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with standard office operations and administrative procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and colleagues.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures for all vascular surgeons at Brigham and Women's Hospital, ensuring accurate and timely scheduling.
• Arrange necessary preoperative testing, appointments, and related scheduling requirements to help patients prepare for surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, clinical teams, and administrative staff to coordinate surgical schedules, manage changes, and support efficient practice operations.
• Serve as a key point of contact for patients, providing scheduling information, answering questions, and communicating appointment details.
• Schedule patient visits, maintain accurate appointment records, and support patient check-in and check-out processes as needed.
• Assist with prior authorization inquiries, insurance-related documentation, and communications involving prescriptions, provider questions, and test results.
• Maintain accurate patient records in Epic, including scanning clinical documentation, processing billing forms, and requesting medical records and laboratory results.
• Serve as an Epic Super User for scheduling, registration, and billing systems, providing guidance and training to colleagues as needed. Epic training is provided!
• Support daily administrative operations, including managing correspondence, maintaining schedules, and coordinating other practice-related activities.
