Qualifications

• Medical terminology preferred.
• Prior surgical scheduling experience highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Windows and Epic systems.
• Surgical booking protocols and Epic experience desirable.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedules pre- and postoperative surgical procedures for the Urology team.
• Coordinates OR and surgeon schedules and collects patient demographics and insurance information.
• Educates patients and family members to ensure understanding of the care being provided.
