Job summary

AtlantiCare in Galloway, NJ seeks a Scheduling Coordinator for Imaging Services to manage daily scheduling and medical records, ensuring completeness and accuracy before exams. The role requires a high school diploma and 3 years of medical scheduling experience, with knowledge of scheduling software (STAR, PowerChart, IRIS) and strong communication skills.

This is a full-time position in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
3 years experience in the medical field as a registrar, receptionist or related position required.
Knowledge of medical terminology and computer experience with scheduling software programs and STAR is preferred.
Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.

Responsibilities

Oversee scheduling and medical record functions in Imaging Services.
Ensure accurate and complete scheduling of procedures and obtain documentation prior to the exam.
Collaborate with imaging team, patients and provider offices to obtain pertinent medical history to optimize patient experience.
Support technologist workflow for the assigned patient area.
