Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Preferred completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Strong communication and confidentiality maintained.

Responsibilities

• Accurately schedules, pre-screens and pre-registers patients for radiology exams.
• Handles heavy phone duties for scheduling and rescheduling appointments.
• Explains proper preparation for radiology exams to patients and provides prep kits.
• Notifies staff of STAT work and processes requisitions.
• Enters patient information into the system and ensures correct exam and preparation.
• Maintains good rapport with Radiology Department and handles inquiries with courtesy.
