• Assist with account and transaction reconciliations, outstanding balance verification, and audit confirmation activities.
• Support daily operational processes and maintain accurate financial records.
• Update and validate financial data and reporting information.
• Research discrepancies and assist in resolving accounting issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Meet critical reporting deadlines, including peak workload and overtime.

Rate: $30-35 an hour

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Operations Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for a recent accounting graduate or a professional with 1-3 years of accounting experience. The successful candidate will support financial reporting, account reconciliations, and daily operational accounting activities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review financial reports, including financial statements, supporting schedules, and related disclosures on a quarterly basis.
• Assist with account and transaction reconciliations, including outstanding balance verification and audit confirmation activities.
• Support daily operational processes and maintain accurate financial records.
• Update and validate financial data and reporting information.
• Research discrepancies and assist in resolving accounting and reporting issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Meet critical reporting deadlines, including periodic peak workload and overtime requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, or recent accounting graduate.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Access.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of investment accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience performing reconciliations and supporting audit processes.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work overtime on a rotating monthly schedule as business needs require.
