Job summary

FloWorks International LLC is seeking an Applications Engineer to respond to customer needs, develop technical solutions for severe service valves, and expand sales within a defined territory. You will collaborate with outside sales and other departments to ensure top-tier service and achievement of quotas.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, 2+ years in technical/customer support, and the ability to travel up to 25%. Hybrid work is available with a professional office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• 2+ years of technical experience in customer support and/or troubleshooting industrial equipment.
• 2+ years of in-plant operations experience.
• 2+ years working knowledge of industrial equipment.
• Strong understanding of business financials and operations acumen.
• Clear written and verbal communication; professional face of Flowserve to customers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a high sense of urgency with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to produce professional reports/presentations per company policies.
• Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office, CAD, ERP.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and develop technical solutions for control valves and related products while interfacing with the outside sales team.
• Demonstrate technical knowledge of Control Valves, Desuperheaters and Steam Conditioning products and their systems.
• Provide pre-sale technical support: understand customer systems, select products, provide data, design support, setup, and training.
• Provide post-sale technical support: troubleshoot issues, review test data, provide technical data as needed.
• Handle correspondence with customers and outside sales regarding application, prices, quotations, and system sketches.
• Support technical presentations to customers and maintain quotation records.
