Job summary

FloWorks, through Triple S Flotech, seeks a results-driven technical sales professional to support severe service valve solutions. You will engage with customers, understand their systems, and recommend control valves, desuperheaters, and steam conditioning products. This role blends application engineering with field sales across a U.S.

territory. Responsibilities include coordinating with outside sales, preparing quotations, and ensuring quotations and orders are fulfilled on time, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2+ years of technical experience in customer support and/or troubleshooting of industrial equipment/technology.
• 2+ years in-plant operations experience.
• 2+ years working knowledge of industrial equipment.
• Good understanding of business financials and operations.
• Clear written and verbal communication; professional with customers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to produce professional reports/presentations per policy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, CAD, ERP.
• Strong time management, organization, and analytical skills.
• Up to 25% travel (domestic).

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs with Severe Service Specialists products.
• Develop relationships and expand business within territory.
• Coordinate with outside sales and other departments for best service.
• Attain sales quotas and margin objectives.
• Provide technical solutions and design support.
• Deliver pre-sale and post-sale technical assistance.
• Prepare quotations and system sketches.
• Train and mentor associates as needed.
• Communicate pricing, application data, and project status.
• Tour customers and ensure on-time order fulfillment.
• Share market and competitor intel within organization.
• Support standardization and continuous improvement efforts.
