Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Value Stream Team Leader in Michigan to guide one or more plant value streams, develop associates, and drive continuous improvement under the Value Stream Manager. You will help implement the Parker Lean system and Win Strategy to reduce costs, inventories and lead times while maintaining a safe work environment.

You will oversee daily operations, assist with budgeting and staffing decisions, and coordinate across shifts to create a flow that matches customer demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years' management or supervisory experience.
• Background in accounting, PC skills, manufacturing, human resource management and inventory control.
• Demonstrated teamwork and teambuilding skills; able to promote safety and positive change.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with LEAN teams or leading LEAN teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop associates and assess performance within the plant value stream(s).
• Direct daily operations and continuous improvements to ensure smooth flow and rapid decision implementation.
• Support budget development and adherence for assigned value stream(s).
• Ensure safety, 5S standards, and process standardization are followed across shifts.
