Job summary

Astrana Health, Inc. is seeking a Lead, Value-Based Care Programs to report to the Medical Director, Value-Based Care Programs.

You will oversee MSSP quality reporting and develop scalable data reporting to meet CMS requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to close quality gaps and improve care outcomes. The role emphasizes project management, data analytics, and stakeholder engagement across physician practices and market teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business, public health or related field, or equivalent experience
• Master's degree in healthcare administration or public health preferred
• 5+ years' experience in healthcare or managed care in medical operations and/or quality improvement
• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Registered Nurse (RN), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Master of Health Administration (MHA), Master of Public Health (MPH), PMP, or Lean/Six Sigma preferred

Responsibilities

• Align program strategy with organisational goals and performance objectives
• Oversee MSSP Quality Reporting processes, deliverables, and compliance
• Drive quarterly and annual quality reporting with accuracy and timeliness
• Use data analytics to monitor performance and identify trends
• Investigate and resolve quality performance and reporting issues
• Escalate issues with clear analyses and recommended solutions
• Improve reporting workflows for efficiency and data integrity
• Provide training for Provider Relations and Market Managers on MSSP requirements
• Engage with leadership and physicians to communicate regulatory changes and program developments
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve care coordination and patient outcomes
