Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking a Vaccine Customer Representative to engage health care providers and system partners, delivering clinical information and educational resources to help improve immunization rates and contract adherence.

You will coordinate with the broader customer team to optimize vaccine strategies and outcomes. The role covers the USA primary location in Pennsylvania with remote work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3 (36 months) or more years Sales experience OR a minimum of high school diploma with at least 6 years of equivalent experience which could include professional sales, experience in marketing, military or healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related (pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices).

Responsibilities

• Engaging in balanced product sales presentations with Health Care Providers and Health Care Business Professionals to align customer needs and vaccine attributes per labeling and CDC/professional society recommendations.
• Providing vaccine management updates to help improve patient health outcomes, customer feedback, marketplace dynamics, and progress towards quality goals.
• Keeping informed on knowledge through self-study of company materials, attending workshops, and reviewing promotional materials.
• Using analytics to engage customers in quarterly reviews regarding their vaccine contracts to maximize contract performance across the portfolio.
• Assisting customers with education to improve immunization rates via quality programs using tools like Vaccine IQ.
