Job summary

DirectShifts in Chandler, AZ is seeking a licensed NP or PA to perform VA C&P General Medicine examinations, review veterans' medical histories, and document objective findings in accordance with VA guidelines.

You will complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) accurately, prepare timely medical reports, and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely evaluations while maintaining HIPAA and state/federal compliance.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Collaborative agreement with supervising physician as required by state law.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA C&P General Medicine examinations.
• Review Veterans' medical history and documentation prior to evaluations.
• Perform comprehensive physical assessments.
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) accurately and thoroughly.
• Prepare timely, objective medical reports.
• Ensure compliance with VA guidelines, HIPAA, and regulations.
