Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a licensed NP or PA to perform Veterans Affairs General Medicine examinations and complete DBQs, adhering to VA guidelines in Hobbs, NM. You will review medical histories, document findings, and prepare objective medical reports with independence and accuracy.

Responsibilities include conducting C&P General Medicine exams, collaborating with clinical teams, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and delivering timely evaluations without on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Collaborative agreement with a supervising physician as required by state law.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to established clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) General Medicine examinations.
• Review Veterans' medical history and supporting documentation prior to each evaluation.
• Perform comprehensive physical assessments.
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) accurately and thoroughly.
• Prepare timely, objective, and detailed medical reports.
• Ensure compliance with VA guidelines, HIPAA, and all applicable state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely completion of evaluations.
