Job summary

Sentinel Health Services seeks licensed dentists to perform VA Compensation and Pension dental examinations at approved dental offices. This contract position requires owning a dental office and an active DDS or DMD license with at least two years of clinical experience.

You will schedule 1–3 days per week with a flexible timetable to support veterans. Examinations are conducted with secure online documentation, DBQs, and adherence to VA protocols, ensuring quality care and timely reporting for

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from CODA-accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted dental license in state of practice.
• One year of dental experience or VA examination experience preferred.
• Own or have access to a dental office for examinations.
• Willing to provide 1–3 days per week with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Perform VA Compensation and Pension (C&P) Dental Examinations on Veterans.
• Perform Dental, TMJ and other disability examinations.
• Complete Independent Medical Opinions (IMOs) when requested.
• Review digital medical and dental records thoroughly.
• Conduct comprehensive oral evaluations for disability claims.
• Review imaging and supporting documentation as applicable.
• Complete DBQs and required examination documentation.
• Submit information through a secure online portal for VA review.
• Examinations occur at approved dental offices with proper equipment.
• Examinations required 1–3 days per week; maintain schedule flexibility.
