Job summary

Sentinel Health Services is seeking licensed dentists to perform VA Compensation and Pension (C&P) dental examinations for veterans. You will conduct dental, TMJ, and related disability examinations in approved dental offices with secure documentation and imaging reviews.

Candidates must hold an active, unrestricted DDS/DMD license, own a dental office, and carry malpractice and liability insurance. A flexible schedule (1–3 days per week) to integrate with existing practice is encouraged.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD license active and unrestricted in the state of practice.
• Minimum two years of clinical dental experience; VA exam experience preferred.
• Must own a dental office and operate from a commercial location.
• Must have malpractice insurance (named insured) and commercial liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform VA Compensation and Pension (C&P) Dental Examinations on Veterans.
• Perform Dental, TMJ and other disability examinations as assigned.
• Complete Independent Medical Opinions (IMOs) when requested.
• Review digital medical and dental records thoroughly.
• Conduct comprehensive oral and dental evaluations based on disability claims.
• Review diagnostic imaging and supporting documentation when applicable.
• Complete VA Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and required documentation.
• Submit information through a secure online portal for VA review as part of a compensation and pension claim.
• Examinations will take place at approved dental offices with proper equipment and internet access.
• Available to perform examinations a minimum of 1 to 3 days per week.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to align with your current patient schedule.
