Job summary

Sentinel Health Services is seeking a licensed Dentist (DDS/DMD) to perform VA Compensation and Pension dental examinations at approved dental offices. The contractor must maintain an active unrestricted license and have at least two years of clinical experience, with VA exam experience preferred.

The role offers a flexible, self-designed schedule across 1–3 days per week, and requires own dental office, malpractice insurance, and commercial liability coverage.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree from CODA-accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted dental license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience; VA examination experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform VA Compensation and Pension (C&P) Dental Examinations.
• Conduct Dental, TMJ and other disability examinations.
• Complete Independent Medical Opinions (IMOs) when requested.
• Review digital medical and dental records thoroughly.
• Conduct comprehensive oral and dental evaluations per disability claims.
• Review imaging and documentation as applicable.
• Complete VA Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).
• Submit examination data through a secure online portal for VA review.
• Examinations conducted at approved dental offices with required equipment.
