Job summary

Sentinel Health Services is seeking dentists to perform VA compensation and pension dental examinations. You must own a commercial dental office, hold an active DDS/DMD license, and be available 1–3 days per week with a flexible schedule.

Independent contracting enables you to align exams with your current patient load. Ideal candidates will have CODA-accredited training, at least two years of clinical experience, and malpractice/liability coverage.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from CODA-accredited ADA program.
• Active, unrestricted dental license in the state of practice.
• Own dental office and commercial location.
• Own malpractice insurance and liability insurance for your practice location.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience.
• Schedule design: 7 days a week; weekends encouraged; 3–7 days per month preferred.
• 1099 Independent Contractor.

Responsibilities

• Perform VA Compensation and Pension (C&P) dental examinations on Veterans.
• Conduct dental, TMJ, and other disability examinations.
• Complete Independent Medical Opinions (IMOs) when requested.
• Review digital medical and dental records.
• Conduct comprehensive oral and dental evaluations for disability claims.
• Review diagnostic imaging and supporting documentation.
• Submit VADBQs and required examination documentation.
• Examinations conducted at approved dental offices with proper equipment and internet access.
• Examinations 1–3 days per week, with flexible scheduling.
