Job summary

Sentinel Health Services seeks a licensed DDS/DMD dentist to perform VA Compensation and Pension dental examinations at approved dental offices. You must maintain an active license, have a minimum two years of clinical experience, and be able to work 1–3 days per week with a flexible schedule.

As a VA contractor, you will conduct TMJ and other disability exams, complete IMOs when requested, and prepare DBQs with secure online submission for VA review.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD licensed dentist with active, unrestricted license.
• One year of dental experience or VA exam experience preferred.
• Ability to design own schedule and work 3–7 days per month preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform VA C&P dental examinations on veterans.
• Conduct dental, TMJ and other disability dental examinations.
• Complete Independent Medical Opinions (IMOs) when requested.
• Review digital medical and dental records thoroughly.
• Conduct comprehensive oral and dental evaluations for disability claims.
• Review imaging and supporting documentation.
• Complete VA DBQs and required examination documentation.
• Submit information through secure online VA portal.
