Empower Mental Health is seeking a licensed audiologist to conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) evaluations for Veterans on a flexible, contractor basis. This non-treatment role focuses on evaluation, testing, and documentation, with no ongoing patient care or insurance billing.

You will perform VA-guided audiometric testing, review records, and write VA-compatible reports. A calibrated audiometer and diagnostic tympanometer are required, and participation offers in-person opportunities with

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Audiologist license.
• Must have access to calibrated equipment capable of VA-required hearing evaluations.
• Master's Degree or higher in relevant field.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.

Responsabilités

• Conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing loss and tinnitus-related evaluations based on VA guidelines.
• Review relevant medical records and examination information.
• Obtain relevant history through focused, objective interviews.
• Perform required audiometric testing and related clinical documentation as required.
• Prepare clear, concise, and timely reports in VA-required formats.
• Provide objective, fact-based findings without influencing the outcome of a Veteran's claim.
• Submit completed examination documentation within required timeframes.
• Maintain clear boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
• Follow all applicable ethical, legal, professional, and confidentiality requirements.
