Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking a licensed audiologist to conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) evaluations for Veterans. This non-treatment, evaluation-focused role offers flexible scheduling and no ongoing patient care or insurance billing.

The contractor will review records, perform audiometric testing, and prepare VA-compliant reports. Ideal candidates hold an active license, have access to VA-evaluation equipment, and can operate across a structured evaluation protocol while maintaining

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted audiologist license.
• Access to calibrated audiometer for VA evaluations.
• Access to tympanometer for tympanometry and reflex testing.
• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing loss and tinnitus-related evaluations.
• Review medical records and obtain focused history.
• Perform audiometric testing and document findings.
• Prepare VA-formatted reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain objectivity and avoid bias in findings.
