Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced UX Web Designer - AI Trainer to develop realistic design briefs and test them using frontier AI tools. You will evaluate results against UI/UX standards and provide structured critique to improve AI understanding of visual and design principles.

The role involves comparing model versions, identifying failures, and contributing to various design disciplines. Remote work is not indicated; onsite engagement is expected in this contract capacity.

Qualifications

Experience in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design.
Ability to critique design outputs and explain why a design fails.

Responsibilities

Create design briefs that are challenging and realistic, leveraging your own professional expertise.
Run briefs through frontier AI design tools and evaluate outputs against professional standards.
Compare two model versions using identical prompts and assets to determine which performed better.
Critique model-generated interfaces, mockups, layouts, slides, infographics, illustrations, and motion.
Flag concrete failures with evidence including alignment, typography, and off-brief interpretation.
Contribute across software and interactive work, office and presentation design, technical illustration, graphic design, and new media.
